Ira Bolterman
Ira Bolterman taught in the New York City Public School system for 35 years serving as a Teacher Mentor, Staff Developer, Curriculum Writer and Literacy Coach. He led schools in developing reading, writing and literacy in the arts curricula.

His collaborative work with The Getty Center for Education in the Arts was published in nationally noted magazines and periodicals. Several schools selected him to lead A.I.S. Teams which supported students with literacy enrichment, as well as provided specialized instruction to students at risk.

In publishing feature articles and editorials, Ira has demonstrated authentic and invaluable expertise that enhances his work with educators.

He is currently working on a professional publication that explores Book Talk in Reading and Writing Partnerships and enjoys working with students, teachers and administrators as an A.L.L. literacy consultant.
