The real world is rich, fascinating, and compelling - how do we empower our students to see it that way?

As teachers we nurture students’ curiosity and encourage them to explore the world through reading.

In our four-day institute for classroom teachers and coaches K-5, we will foster the growth and development of literacy at Dilley ES. The institute will be facilitated by A.L.L.’s two senior consultants, Andy Hess and Bebe Morrissey, who have customized the institute to meet the needs of the school.

Our main energy will be focused on developing a coherent model of instruction that is consistent throughout the school.

Each day will be structured to include:
