Accelerated Literacy Learning will partner with Sac City for a five-day summer Writers Workshop Institute.
It will include:

• Working in teams and one-on-one with teachers, coaches and administrators.
• Planning, implementing and launching Writing Workshop.
• Instructions on how to construct mini lessons.
• Methods to confer with students about their writing.
• Tools for assessing student’s work.
• Ideas for nourishing your own writing life in order to become a better teacher of writing.

Each day will be structured to include grade level content sessions focused on the introduction to Writers Workshop (Launching the Year), as well as provide an opportunity for participants to work on their own piece of writing.
