Bebe Morrissey, lead A.L.L. consultant, will facilitate a 2 day institute with classroom teachers. Participants will analyze and unpack the Common Core Standards to use as a foundational guide in designing a pacing calendar for their respective schools. Teachers will also design units that align with the Common Core Standards and the 3 main strands of Writing. Participants will leave will a plan for the year, as well as concrete professional development ideas to share with their colleagues.
